Mark your calendars, European Week of Sport 2023 is back in September! It's the perfect time to register your events and be part of this incredible initiative. Don't miss out on the opportunity to join thousands of participants promoting the importance of physical activity and a healthy lifestyle across Europe and beyond.

What's even more exciting is that the European Week of Sport Denmark is once again teaming up with the Danish Exercise Week (Danmarks Motionsuge). From 10 to 16 October, Denmark will be buzzing with diverse events that celebrate the joy of movement. With the Danish Week of Movement joining in October, the celebration of the #BeActive campaign last much longer!

So, if you're planning to organize a sports event in Denmark between 1 September and 16 October 2023, it's essential to register your event. There are no restrictions, and anyone can participate.

By registering your events, you contribute to raising awareness about the countless benefits of physical activity while creating opportunities for individuals to engage in sports and maintain an active lifestyle. Not only that, but you'll also become part of an international campaign. Your event will play a valuable role in the worldwide #BeActive campaign, initiated by the European Commission to promote physical activity and encourage a healthy lifestyle.

The #BeActive campaign supports the European Week of Sport, held annually during the last week of September in 40 countries across the EU and beyond. The 2023 edition marks the 9th year of this remarkable initiative, proudly building on almost a decade of legacy.

Once your event is registered as part of the European Week of Sport, you'll have the opportunity to utilize the #BeActive visual identity. This visual branding will highlight your event's affiliation with the international campaign. To access the #BeActive graphic package, simply reach out to us at mn@isca-web.org.

In 2022, Denmark saw a remarkable turnout with 5,894 events and 593,297 participants taking part in the European Week of Sport. Among them were four outstanding events that formed part of the #BeActive Night in Denmark: The Friday Night Skate Copenhagen, Kulturnatten with Realdania at Jarmers Plads, Halloween Run, and Hvidovre Light Run (Lysløb) brought a vibrant atmosphere to the festivities.

Joining the European Week of Sport Denmark comes with a multitude of benefits. You become part of an international movement that advocates for physical activity, healthy living, and an active lifestyle. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to make a difference!
