The purpose of the European Fitness Badge concept is to motivate inactive seniors to increase level of physical activity in order to strengthen their health and quality of life. EFB testing is to reflect the physical form of a person and to show how their health is improving through regular exercise. The next step after testing is discussing individual results in a 1-to-1 counselling process, which would also motivate and guide participants to individually relevant physical activity opportunities in the local community, to enable increased and sustained levels of activity for participants.
The testing will take place on 8 October, the advisory day - on 19 October.
